About threatened treasures

Threatened Treasures is a volunteer powered, community project aiming to create an anthology to inspire wonder, curiosity and hope, in 6 to 14 year olds as they immerse themselves in poetry, illustrations, scientific insights and Indigenous knowledge, in relation to Australia’s threatened flora, fauna and eco-systems. We are also proudly supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW.
Inspired by Australia’s crisis of extinction, extreme weather challenges and the distress these conditions have wrought in many young people, Threatened Treasures seeks to make a record of, celebrate and honour our threatened natural treasures, whilst instilling hope for the future.
All royalties will be donated to companies committed to conservation of the environment and the preservation of indigenous knowledge.
Threatened Treasures is supported by the
NSW Government through Create NSW.
We are also proud to work in support of Bush Heritage Australia, who work to conserve our magnificent landscapes and irreplaceable native species forever.
